Introducing The Weaving Mill Smock Dress: a lightweight and versatile all-season dress. Drapey, comfortable, flattering and excellent for layering. The fabric in this round of dresses is a miniature windowpane plaid woven with cotton and deadstock acrylic-blend yarns. The warp yarns in this fabric came from a display at the Merchandise Mart during Neocon 2016. The weft yarns came to us from an overstock yarn dealer in Rhode Island. It took a minute, but they eventually revealed their desired plaid combinations.

The dress features hidden side-seam pockets, contrast neck & armhole binding and a gently gathered waist. Bike-tested, this is truly an excellent dress.

Available in 3 appetizing colors: Lemon, Pluot, and Apricot (select color name from the Drop-down menu to see the corresponding photo)

Machine wash and dry or handwash and hang in the sun (your dress will thank you for it)
