CONTAINERS: INSTALLATION AT ELASTIC ARTS
CONTAINERS is a body of work by Matti Sloman and Emily Winter, created during a residency/installation at Elastic Arts during the summer of 2017.
It includes drawings, fabric, models, and text that consider the following questions: Where do you start? Where do you stop? When does scale begin to matter? What are your tools and what are the terms? Who’s looking for what?
Over the course of the exhibition, The Weaving Mill hosted a series of events centered around the exhibition’s central questions. Events included short film screenings, open studios, and artist talks.
